This policy explains how Bishop Consulting AB ("we," "us"), the company behind The SHIELD Method, handles your personal data when you use the "Toxic or Just Tough?" assessment at assessment.theshieldmethod.co.

When you complete the assessment and choose to receive your results, we collect your email address (to deliver your personalized results and follow-up content about The SHIELD Method) and your assessment responses (answer selections per question, to calculate your result category and signal breakdown). We also store the result category and signal scores as tags linked to your email, to send you content that matches your situation.
We do not collect your name, IP address, location, or any other identifying information beyond your email. We do not use cookies or tracking scripts on the assessment page.
We process your data based on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You give consent by entering your email and clicking "See My Results." You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us.
Your email address and tags are stored in MailerLite, an email platform operated by UAB MailerLite, registered in Lithuania (EU). Your data stays within the EU. No assessment data is stored on the assessment website itself. Results are calculated in your browser and are not saved on any server.
Only Nathalie Bishop (founder, Bishop Consulting AB) and authorized tools (MailerLite) have access to your data. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
We keep your email and associated tags for as long as you remain subscribed to our mailing list. If you unsubscribe, your data is deleted from our active list within 30 days. MailerLite may retain anonymized, aggregated analytics data after deletion.
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can also request that we restrict processing or provide your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email nathalie@bishopconsulting.com. We respond within 30 days.
The "Toxic or Just Tough?" assessment is a self-reflection tool designed to help you recognize workplace patterns. It is not a clinical diagnosis, psychological evaluation, or health assessment. No individual decisions about your employment, health, or wellbeing should be made based solely on this assessment. If you are experiencing distress, please consult a qualified professional.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and, where possible, notify affected individuals by email.
